Nigel Evans
As vice president of Pfizer Animal Genetics,
Nigel Evans brings 20 years of experience at Pfizer
to facilitate the integration of Catapult Genetics
and Bovigen LLC, and lead the building of our global
animal genetics business.
He has led successful research and development
projects that have been the precursor to many new
product introductions at Pfizer, as well as heading
the Business Innovation group that laid the
groundwork for Pfizer to enter the world of animal
genomics.
Ronnie Green
Ronnie Green joined Pfizer Animal Genetics after
30 years of leadership in the beef industry,
nationally and internationally.
Most recently, Ronnie served as the national
program leader for animal production and genomics at
USDA’s Agricultural Research Service. His broad
expertise in livestock genetics, genomics and
production sciences is an invaluable asset to Pfizer
and the industry.
Sue DeNise
Dr. Sue DeNise leads research and development of all new products in the Pfizer Animal Genetics portfolio. In this role she also is responsible for overseeing global lab operations and customer service.
Dr. DeNise joins Pfizer Animal Genetics after spending the last seven years as Vice President of Genomics Research at MMI Genomics. In that position she was responsible for designing and directing research and development initiatives in multiple animal species. Dr. DeNise also spent 18 years as a professor in the Department of Animal Science at the University of Arizona.
Doug Ricke
Doug Ricke leads global marketing for the Pfizer
Animal Genetics brand portfolio. He joined us after
four years in leadership positions with Pfizer
Animal Health.
Doug joined Pfizer Animal Health in 2003 after it
acquired Pharmacia & Upjohn. Ricke became Director
of Anti-Infectives for U.S. Cattle Marketing and
played a key role in integrating the two companies.
He and his team were responsible for developing and
managing successful, rapidly growing brand
portfolios and overseeing new product launches and
their lifecycle management.
Dave Korbelik
Dave Korbelik joined the Pfizer Animal Genetics Team as Global Marketing Manager. He is responsible for developing focused, global marketing efforts for current and future Pfizer Animal Genetic product offerings.
Dave has strong roots in the agriculture industry. He was raised on his family’s farming and ranching operation in eastern Colorado, and later managed his own cattle operation. Dave has experience leading sales and marketing efforts in the agricultural finance and insurance industries. Dave also served five years in public office as a County Commissioner of Kit Carson County, serving as the youngest elected official to this position in Colorado history. Dave received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business from Colorado State University.
Gerard Davis
Gerard Davis leads business efforts in the Asia-Pacific Region. Previously, he served as chief executive officer and co-founder of Catapult Genetics Pty. Ltd.
Gerard was responsible for research and development of the company’s product portfolio, which launched the first-ever DNA-marker tests for phenotypic traits in beef, as well as overall business development. He pioneered the global commercialization of DNA-marker technology in livestock.
